Mosey on over to our free downloads page, where you can download the whole thing for free, in exchange for a tweet, a facebook share or for signing up to our email list. If you don’t have any of those (what are you doing here on the internet anyway? Being productive??) then I guess you’ll have to come out to a show and get a CD… which is also free. Or do all of those things. Whatever floats your boat. Or gets your goat. Enjoy!
Finally! We’re heading back in to the studio tomorrow to start in on the next record. We’re back into the fray with our producer Michael Seifert and our engineer Adam Korbesmeyer.
Stay tuned for video updates!
Win a pair of SOL Republic headphones from us
February 14th, 2012
Super easy. All you have to do is go to our Facebook page, share the “All Our Love” video, fill out the form and BAM. You’re entered to win a pair of sick SOL phones. We love em.
Exciting news – we’ve been nominated for the Indie/Rock/Pop Act of the Year via the New England Music Awards. The love just keeps on piling in! Thank you to all who keep pushing us to be better and better.
We’re hitting the studio this month to start laying down the tracks we’ve been at day and night ever since the release of WWAD. While it is going to be a process over several months (between show dates – those will be posted soon!) we will be putting up all kinds of short documentary videos, sound bytes, maybe some lyric samples, who knows what else. It will be fun. Keep up with us on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and of course here at gentlemenhall.com
We’re stoked – stick around!

Lyrics party #6
February 6th, 2012
Take me under
I wanna go under
When you took me underneath
I thought these steps were out of reach
but now
You show me aqua colored dreams
sea foam shades of lighter green
go down
As I’m sinking
I start dreaming
The surface is the only thing
that separates the world we’re in
my love
Glimpses of the light that shines
A different perspective
in my mind
As I’m sinking
I start dreaming
CHORUS
Take me away from here
under the atmosphere
Shallow water wouldn’t do
I wanna go under now with you
Go Pats!

Lyrics Party #5 – Tame The Beast
February 3rd, 2012
I see a creature in the corner of my eye
I probably can’t defeat her but I sure as hell can try
caught by her features skin made of scales
she’ll probably rip right through me with a thorn covered tail
and I don’t know how she got so cold, so come in close now baby come in close
I can’t see when she follows me, to the darkest chambers baby wait and see
I’ll tame the beast
in the dead of night
I’ll tame the beast
until she’s mine
I’ll tame the beast
and go for a ride
I know she’s the wild kind
I’ll tame the beast
I call for back up, as I’m looking through my phone
If I had a weapon with me, I could take her down alone
I’m barely breathing with the way you come around
If I could only find your weakness, find a way to take you down
And I can’t go till I tame her soul
so come in close now baby come in close
Oh I can’t wait, no time to waste
with handcuffs and blindfolds
If you swallow me, be careful please
bite through my heart and chew chew slowly
if you spit me out, while I scream and shout
I’m losing but I’ll keep on going

Lyrics party #4 – All Our Love
January 26th, 2012
I’ve been away too long
and I keep my head in the clouds
I’m just waiting for a way
now to get back down
Twenty some years
put a lot of overlapping thoughts in my head
don’t matter wanna wash ‘em away
and just space out
And I’m naked
underwater I’m changing
my scenery
And I’m breaking
through the water
I’m saving
what’s left of me
All our love is
All we have it’s
Everything
Everything
Show me how we loved
back when we were young
Did you feel the way you did
when you stare down a gun
is it over
or has it begun
I’m laughing in the face
of the keeper of time
how did we get off changing
all that we left behind
let’s sleep while waiting
fall asleep while waiting
And I’m naked
underwater I’m breaking
so easily
Paint this picture on the wall
tells the story of it all
slipping away
Lyrics Party #3 – Close To Me
January 25th, 2012
Where could she go
where could she be
I want her close to me
I want her close to me
I remember the day I met her
I had been looking for something better
she took control of the situation
she played my mind in our conversation
The way she touched I was taken over
her love so good I was never sober
I lost control of the situation
I feel right in her manipulation
Next thing I knew she had found another
I should have known she was undercover
I need something articulated
why is our lovin so complicated
Where could she go
where could she be
I want her close to me
I want her close to me
Naragansett Beer band of the week!
January 24th, 2012
It’s always an honor to be called out by a beer company. Especially one you partake in on a regular basis.
There’s something i’ve been trying to say but it won’t come out
I’m lost for words the moment’s got my tongue
What’s in my mind can’t describe my heart
I wouldn’t even know where to start
Will we get to the other side
They say no they say no they say no
When words won’t work
We talk with our eyes
When words won’t work
We fall from the sky
Looking through your hazel green like the color I’ve never seen
I see through your eyes and the things that you didn’t mean
It’s just another chance to get higher
Every time I look in the fire
Will we get to the other side
They say no they say no they say no
When words won’t work
We talk with our eyes
When words won’t work
We fall from the sky
Runaway…
As i fall into your eyes
Don’t speak…
Deeper
When words don’t seem to come so easily…
I can see my reflection
ok…
looking into your soul
cause tonight I know I’ll never be the same
We’re fading away
When words won’t work
We talk with our eyes
When words won’t work
We fall from the sky
Pats going to the Super Bowl!! Yes!!

Lyrics party #1 !
January 21st, 2012
GRAVITY
Like rolling thunder, falling from the sky
my only lover, looked me in the eyes
so tell me what’s between us, I try but feel so useless
we wait we change I feel you fading slowly
we fall through space I can see your light from worlds away
Gravity will break our bones
Gravity will break our bones
Gravity will break our bones
But we won’t need them when we’re gone
So cold, the wind is blowing, pulling us apart
and for a moment, letting down my guard
and suddenly I see it, i know we’re only human
our words, our dance, now seem so unfamiliar
when all has gone I can see your light from worlds away
Gravity will break our bones
Gravity will break our bones
Gravity will break our bones
But we won’t need them when we’re gone
There’s a storm in our life on the way
I can see it in the setting sun
it’s between you and I it’s a moment away
you’re beyond the horizon
there’s a storm in our life on the way
when all is said and done
with the clouds we’ll be floating away
beyond the horizon
Gravity will break our bones
Gravity will break our bones
Gravity will break our bones
But we won’t need them when we’re gone
Unless you’ve been living under an internet rock, it’s likely you’ve heard about two bills before Congress, the Stop Online Piracy Act and the Protect IP Act. On January 24th Congress will have to vote to pass or deny these acts. We, along with millions of others running websites are very worried about the limits this will place on our ability to share content with you.
If the act is passed, we will likely be denied linking articles on GH press like album reviews, concert reviews, interviews. We will certainly have trouble linking YouTube videos like backstage interviews or even our own personal live footage/official videos. Censoring the internet is unAmerican and will not only limit your and our ability to share content, it will slow economic growth for so many web developers, be they veterans or young entrepreneurs with dreams of fledgling websites. It’s going to hurt a lot of young bands who have fun sharing their favorite internet content. And that really sucks.
So please, if you have a minute and can sign this petition along with the millions of others encouraging our Congress to vote no on this bill it’s greatly appreciated by so many of us. And if you already have, good luck to us all on preserving our online freedoms.
Also catch the song tonight on 90210 at 8/7c on The CW

Looking forward to a new year
January 13th, 2012
After a long pow-wow and about 4 pots of coffee, we’re looking forward to what we expect to be a really fun year, provided of course the world doesn’t end. Last year was a blast for us, meeting a ton of new people, seeing a bunch of cities we’ve never seen and spreading our music to hungry ears. Thank you everyone who has been a part of our journey so far.
We’re looking to post at least two new releases this year, albumwise. We will also be releasing content on the regular, new music videos, new singles, new remixes. Maybe we’ll do some fun stuff like desktop wallpaper or silly merch. We took ourselves so seriously last year trying to improve ourselves musically and otherwise. This year, we just want to share with you everything that we’ve been up to in our Boston home. Five studios under one roof. We’re brewing up some music we’re very excited about.
We really hope that all of you are having a great year so far and are also looking forward to success in your personal lives, career etc. Again, thank you so much for being a part of our journey this far, and we’re stoked that we’ll keep moving forward together.

We weren’t sure when when the world was going to end, so we hadn’t booked any shows for the year yet. But we are working on it. In the meantime, we’re writing like crazy and will have some new releases for you this Spring!
Thanks to all who came to our show last night – huge success and so much fun.
Happy New Year from GH!
